He graduated from the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute in 1971 with a degree in Peat Machines and Complexes. Since 1971 he has been working at BPI-BSPA-BNTU. In 1980 he defended his PhD thesis in the specialty “Chemical technology of fuel and gas”. In 1982, he received the academic title of associate professor in the specialty “Technology and integrated mechanization of peat deposit development.” In 2002, he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences, specializing in Mineral Processing. In 2007, he was awarded the academic title of professor in the specialty “Technology”. In 2008 – 2009, acting Rector of the Republican Institute of Innovative Technologies, then Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs. From 2009 to 2022 - Head of the Department of Mining Machines. Author of more than 400 scientific and educational works, including 6 monographs.
