Research Work (RW) in 2026
In 2026, the Department launched research under the state budget topic GB 26-271 "Improving Enterprise Management within the Framework of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the Socio-Economic System" (supervisor — Candidate of Sociological Sciences, Associate Professor I.N. Kandrychyna). Student research topics grow directly out of this agenda: sustainable development, innovation, financial and project management.
The Department of Management lives in science mode all year round: students present at international venues, bring home competition diplomas, get published and defend their own research at the department's in-house conferences.
Season of Victories: International and Republican Competitions End with Diplomas
In 2026, our students won prizes at international and republican-level competitions – a perfect example of how "trying your hand at science" can lead to a spot on the podium.
"Golden Pen of 'Belaya Rus' – 2026"
Antonov Leonid Sergeevich (Group 10801124) – 1st degree diploma at the district stage of the creative youth works competition in the "Student" category (Sovetsky District Organization of Minsk, 'Belaya Rus' Public Association, March 2 – April 24, 2026). Competition paper: "The Wings on Which the Country Flies".
MULTILANG: First Degree in Linguistics
Lukashevich Polina (Group 10801123) and Minakova Anna (Group 10801123) are the winners of the IV International Student Competition of Research Papers in Linguistics MULTILANG (Ulyanovsk State University). Direction: "Actual Issues of Linguoecology and Intercultural Communication", research topic: "Features of Conducting Business Negotiations with Chinese Partners".
Science in English
Sychanova Elizaveta Yuryevna (Group 10801125) – 3rd degree diploma of the IV International Competition of Multimedia Presentations in a Foreign Language (Kazan State Power Engineering University, February–March 2026), "English Language" section. Paper: "Environmental Problems of Modernity as a Consequence of Technological Progress". Scientific supervisor – Pavlovich Daria Igorevna, lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages.
Republican Scale: Management Olympiad
Filippovich Ksenia Sergeevna (Group 10801124) was awarded a diploma at the XIII Republican Olympiad in Management among Youth (March–May 2026, State Committee for Standardization of the Republic of Belarus with the participation of the Ministry of Education and BelGISS) for a comprehensive study of the impact of the HR brand on the quality management system. Additionally, within the framework of the Olympiad, students of the department presented the paper "Business Processes as a Quality Management Tool", prepared by L.S. Antonov, A.E. Nikolaenko, I.N. Sheima, and K.S. Filippovich under the supervision of Associate Professor of the Department of Management I.D. Matyas.
Science at Home: The Department Regularly Hosts Conferences and Competitions
You don't have to wait for invitations – the department creates its own scientific agenda. Every spring, the traditional Student Scientific and Technical Conference takes place: in 2026, the "Management" section ran from April 22 to 25 – 38 reports, and every single one was delivered: 60 participants, 15 research supervisors, and zero no-shows.
On May 14, at MIDO BNTU within the framework of the International Youth Forum "Creativity and Innovations 2026", the "Digital Technologies and Business" section was held. Additionally, students compete in olympiads and presentation contests at the university venue. This is where they can present to an audience for the first time, debate with opponents, and test their ideas before moving on to external platforms.
The section recommends the best reports for the XXXIII Republican Competition of Student Research Papers. In 2026, there are five of them:

- Filippovich K.S. – "The Impact of the Corporate Well-Being Program on Labor Productivity and Staff Turnover" (supervisor: Associate Professor Kandrychyna I.N.);
- Balashova M.M. – "Interactive Product Visualization: The Potential of AR Technologies in the Marketing of Means of Production" (supervisor: Associate Professor Gromova V.S.);
- Navitskaya E.V., Lopukh D.V. – "The Role of Educational and Academic Exchanges in the Development of Intercultural Dialogue between China and the Republic of Belarus" (supervisor: Associate Professor Matyas I.D.);
- Sharaeva T.V., Miklashevich M.A. – "Competitiveness of the Organization's Marketing Strategy" (supervisor: Senior Lecturer Martseva S.V.).

A Strong School: Who Leads
Behind every student presentation is a mentor. The department has 13 faculty members: a head of department, two professors holding doctoral degrees, five associate professors with candidate of sciences degrees, four senior lecturers, and one lecturer; and all 13 are actively engaged in research during their designated research hours. During the 2025/26 academic year, the department published 15 articles in peer-reviewed journals (HAC of the Republic of Belarus and HAC of the Russian Federation), 8 articles and conference abstracts, registered 2 Electronic Educational and Methodological Complexes (EEMC), and updated master's courses to include the results of their own research. Students work in this same orbit: co-authoring with faculty and presenting together at venues ranging from Perm and Moscow to Donetsk and Kemerovo.
Behind every presentation is a publication: in 2026, the department's students prepared 77 research papers – articles in the SRW-82 collection, abstracts from international conferences in Gomel, Sevastopol, Moscow, Kazan, Baranovichi, Gorno-Altaysk, Gorlovka, and the collection of the Republican School of Sinology. The topics match the geography: metaverses and AR technologies, artificial intelligence in management, corporate well-being, the Belarusian-Chinese dialogue, and the green economy.
