DEAR COLLEAGUES!
We invite you to participate in the 5th Anniversary International Scientific and Technical Conference "Road Construction and Its Engineering Support," which will be held on December 18-19, 2025, at the Belarusian National Technical University as part of the 23rd BNTU International Scientific and Technical Conference "Science for Education, Production, and Economy."
2025 is a significant year for the Belarusian National Technical University. On December 10, 2025, the university will celebrate its 105th anniversary.
2025 marks the year of the Great Victory. March 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the resumption of classes at the university after the Great Patriotic War. The Department of Geodesy and Aerospace Geotechnology, the oldest department in the Faculty of Transport Communications, also celebrated this significant date – 80 years since its resumption. 2025 is the year of outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions not only to the development of the Belarusian National Technical University and its Faculty of Transport Communications, but also to road construction in general.
February 24th would have marked the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Arkhipovich Golubev, Honored Worker of Higher Education of Belarus, who headed our university's Faculty of Road Construction for 14 years.
July 1st would have marked the 95th birthday of Professor Mikhail Kirillovich Balykin, Honored Builder of Belarus and Honored Worker of Public Education of Belarus, who for many years headed the Department of Strength of Materials and Theory of Elasticity (now the Department of Mathematical Methods in Construction) of the Faculty of Transport Communications.
Professor Margarita Sergeevna Nesterenok, who headed the Department of Engineering Geodesy for 30 years, would have celebrated her 90th birthday on September 26th. November 19th marks the 125th anniversary of the birth of Professor Mikhail Vasilyevich Doroshevich, Honored Scientist and Engineer of Belarus, Head of the Department of Geodesy, and Rector of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute.
The aim of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of scientific and technical information between scientists and industry specialists in the field of road construction and its engineering support, to engage young people in research and development to address scientific, technical, and industrial challenges, and to improve the level of specialist training.
Teachers, researchers, representatives of the real economy, young scientists, graduate students, and undergraduates are invited to participate in the conference.
Conference languages: Belarusian, Russian, and English.
Participation options: presentation of a paper or poster presentation. Remote participation can be arranged if necessary.
Participation in the conference is free of charge.
