Specialization: "Construction of Transport Communications"
Specialization: Bridges, Transport Tunnels, and Subways: 7-07-0732-03
The specialization "Bridges, Transport Tunnels, and Subways" is part of the specialization "Construction of Transport Communications." The department offers full-time training. This specialization was formed by merging three previously existing specializations: "Bridges," "Underground Structures, Tunnels, and Subways," and "Maintenance, Reconstruction, and Repair of Transport Facilities," which were previously part of the specialization "Bridges, Transport Tunnels, and Subways."
Civil engineers in the specialization "Bridges, Transport Tunnels, and Subways" are trained in the design, construction, and operation of transport facilities.
Those who graduated from the university in this specialty can design, build and operate:
- a variety of bridge structures, viaducts, overpasses, overpasses, complex multi-level crossings, pedestrian bridges and other road, rail and urban transport facilities;
- tunnels and metro stations, underground parking lots and garages, transport, pedestrian and collector tunnels, large underground transport and multifunctional complexes, tunnels and structures for new high-speed modes of transport and other underground structures.
Graduates who graduated from the university with a degree in one of the specializations can work in research and design institutes, educational institutions, in bridge, metro and road construction organizations, in centers for diagnosing the operational condition of bridge and tunnel structures, in as managers of construction and installation works.
Qualification - civil engineer.
