June 8, 2026 Regional Festival and Competition of Professional Skills
From June 2 to 5, 2026, the regional festival and competition of professional skills was held in Luninets among students, pupils, and young workers of the Brest Region (as part of the 7th Republican Professional Skills Competition, ProfSkills). Young workers and college students demonstrated their skills in 44 competencies.

May 18, 2026 Creativity and Innovations in Geodesy: How BNTU Students Are Changing the Future of the Industry
As part of the "Creativity and Innovations 2026" forum, on May 12, 2026, the Department of Geodesy and Aerospace Geotechnologies of the Belarusian National Technical University held its annual student scientific and technical conference dedicated to current issues of geodesy. The event was attended by students from the first to fourth years. They presented their research in the field of modern geodetic methods and technologies.

On May 6, the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus held a meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council’s section on geodesy and cartography. The meeting was attended by Professor Vladimir Pavlovich Podshivalov, Doctor of Sciences and a leading expert in the field of geodesy, from the Department of Geodesy and Aerospace Geotechnologies of the Faculty of Transport Communications at the Belarusian National Technical University.

Currently, the management and staff of the Department of Geodesy and Aerospace Geotechnologies of the Belarusian National Technical University are actively involved in career guidance, which is carried out among schoolchildren of the Republic of Belarus in order to popularize engineering and technical professions in general and, in particular, to form motivation for future applicants to enter leading technical universities to study the specialty "Geodesy". One of such events was the competition "Let's ensure the safety of geodetic points", organized by the topographic and geodetic republican unitary enterprise "Belgeodeziya".
