CHECK-IN TO THE HOSTEL AND REGISTRATION

BNTU provides a place in the hostel for foreign applicants, if necessary. Students are settled in hostel after enrolling in the university at the places assigned to the faculty. 

The BNTU campus consists of 15 hostels located in different parts of Minsk. There are three types of hostels in BNTU: corridor, block and apartment.

The estimated cost of living in hostels is 40-60 US dollars. It is possible to rent private apartments (residential premises) in the city (in Minsk, the cost is from 250 to 500 US dollars per month).

To move into the BNTU hostels, you must contact the Dean's office of the Faculty or the Faculty of International Cooperation of BNTU (Nezavisimosti Avenue, house number 67, room 122, 136. Phone: +375 (17) 293-91-48, +375 (17) 378-42-02).

CHECK-IN TO THE HOSTEL

An application for accommodation in a hostel is filled out at the Faculty of International Cooperation of BNTU when applying for admission to the preparatory department, for the first year, for a master's degree or internship. On the basis of this application, a referral is issued for settling in the BNTU hostel.

To check into the BNTU hostel, you need to provide the following documents to the head of the hostel:

1. referral to the BNTU hostel;
2. passport and notarized translation of the foreign passport into Russian in the Republic of Belarus;
3. 4 photos;
4. a medical certificate for settling into a hostel (to obtain a certificate, you must undergo a medical examination at the student Polyclinic No. 33, located at Surganova Str., building 45/4, Minsk, and receive a "Certificate for settling into a BNTU hostel", which is issued immediately after passing a medical examination);
5. receipts for payment for accommodation in the BNTU hostel;
6. certificate of vaccination.

When you check into the hostel, you will be provided with:

• a temporary pass;
• bed linen (on receipt);
• room/block keys;
• the third copy of the Agreement on accommodation in the hostel.

REGISTRATION

You need to register a temporary stay within two days after your arrival in the Republic of Belarus.

To do this, you need to submit documents to the Sector of migration registration and support of foreign students of the Faculty of International Cooperation of BNTU (Nezavisimosti Avenue, house number 67, room 131. Phone: +375 (17) 257-75-73) :

• a foreign passport with a study visa;
• receipts for payment of the state registration fee (temporary stay - 1 basic value;
• .medical insurance (except for citizens of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan). Insurance can be issued at the Faculty of International Cooperation (Nezavisimosti Avenue, house number 67, room 131. Phone: +375 (17) 257-75-73)

You will need to apply for temporary residence for the period of your studies at the university, after the conclusion and signing of the contract for training, tuition fees and the issuance of an Order for admission to BNTU:

• a foreign passport with a study visa;
• notarized translation of a foreign passport into Russian in the Republic of Belarus;
• 5 photos;
• residential rental agreement (dormitory/apartment);
• receipts for payment of the state registration fee (temporary stay - 1 basic value; temporary residence - 3 basic values);
• completed questionnaire (issued by department employees);
• medical insurance (except for citizens of Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan). Insurance can be issued at the Faculty of International Cooperation (Nezavisimosti Avenue, house number 67, room 131. Phone: +375 (17) 257-75-73).

ATTENTION : if ou change your place of residence within 1 day from the date of conclusion of the residential lease agreement, you must contact the Faculty of International Cooperation (Nezavisimosti Avenue, house number 67, room 131) for registration of a change of address.

Foreign students are only required to reside in the temporary residence at which they are registered.
