The Faculty of Energy Construction, established on October 1, 1986, is dedicated to training specialists in the construction and operation of energy facilities and water management systems, with a focus on the utilization of natural, particularly energy, resources. Our key areas of expertise include hydroenergy, hydraulic engineering, water transport and shipbuilding, heat and gas supply, and water supply and wastewater disposal. These fields are critical to the economy of the Republic of Belarus, making our specializations highly prestigious. Our graduates, many of whom are prominent in Belarus and internationally, are highly sought after across various industries.
Although relatively young, the faculty's origins date back to 1920, making it as old as BNTU itself. Today, the Faculty of Energy Construction comprises several departments and research laboratories staffed by highly skilled professionals. We pride ourselves on having a modern, well-equipped educational and laboratory infrastructure and extensive business connections both in Belarus and abroad.
The concept of creating the faculty was envisioned at the founding of the Belarusian Polytechnic Institute, but the official training of personnel began on October 1, 1986. Since then, the faculty has integrated various specializations related to energy facility construction, water management, and natural resource utilization.
Currently, the faculty educates over 2,000 students in full-time and part-time programs, offering training in six specialties and seven specializations.
