Zykov Gregory

PhD, Associate Professor

In 2002, he graduated with honors from the physics faculty of the educational institution "Gomel State University named after F. Skorina". In 2005, after finishing his postgraduate studies, he was assigned to work at the Institute of Electronics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. From 2007 to 2015. worked as a research assistant, and then as a senior research assistant at the Institute of Physics of NAS of Belarus. Actively participated in the implementation of state research programs. In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated August 11, 2005 367 "On improving the encouragement of creative work by young scientists" and according to the order of the President of the Republic of Belarus dated December 4, 2010.  A scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus was awarded to talented young scientists for 2011 for establishing physical patterns in changing photovoltaic and electrophysical characteristics. Microresonant structures on various materials to extend the spectral range of sensitivity of such structures in the infrared spectrum and develop on this basis original technical solutions for creating solar elements, infrared radiation sensors, night vision devices, etc. The results obtained are published in Russian and English in the leading high-ranking scientific publications (Scopus, RINC, etc.), as well as tested at international scientific conferences and recognized by the scientific public as in the Republic of Belarus, both abroad, their practical significance is confirmed by patents on inventions.

Since 2015 he worked as a senior lecturer of the department "Physics", since 2017 - an associate professor of the mentioned department.
Since October 2024, he has been the head of the "Physics" department.
