Ivanov Igor Arkadievich - Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Technical Sciences.

 Education: Graduated from Tomsk State University named after V.V. Kuibyshev in 1984. 

 Professional activity: has been working at BNTU since 2001; since 2013 – Dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Technology.

 Research interests : Ion-plasma processing of metallic materials, design of vacuum equipment. More than 200 scientific and educational works have been published. He was awarded the medal "For Labor Merit" and the badge: "Excellent Education". He is a member of the editorial board of the journal "Casting and Metallurgy", "Technical Science and Innovation", the Republican collection of scientific papers "Metallurgy". He is a member of the BNTU council, the scientific meeting of the Faculty of Mathematics and Technical Physics for preliminary examination of dissertations, a member of the specialized Council for the defense of dissertations K 02.19.02 in the specialty "Electrophysics, electrophysical installations," and a member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus on "Optics and vacuum technology."
 
He lectures on the following subjects : "Vacuum Equipment and Technologies in Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering," "Intellectual Property Management," "Fundamentals of Scientific Research and Innovation," and "Heat Transfer in Foundries." He supervises introductory workshops, diploma projects, and the training of master's and doctoral students. He has supervised two PhD candidates.
