According to Resolution No. 161 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus dated 05.09.2025 (as amended by Resolution No. 185 of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus on 29.10.2025) The Belarusian National Technical University is included in the List of educational institutions designated by the points for assessing the knowledge of immigrant workers in one of the official languages of the Republic of Belarus.
The assessment of the knowledge of one of the official languages of the Republic of Belarus by immigrant workers is carried out in accordance with the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated 03.09.2025 No. 477 "On the assessment of knowledge of one of the official languages of the Republic of Belarus".
The knowledge assessment is conducted on the 15th of each month and on the last day of the month, subject to the employer's request. If the 15th or last day of the month falls on a non-working day, then the knowledge assessment is carried out on the next working day.
The algorithm of the employer's actions
The employer sends the application in writing to the email address by the 5th and 20th of each month. bntu@bntu.by
The application form, issued on the company's letterhead, contains the following information:
information about the immigrant worker (citizenship, surname, proper name, patronymic (if any) in one of the official languages, date of birth, language of testing);
contact information of the employer (legal address, e-mail address, phone number).
The application is signed by the supervisor, stamped, scanned and sent to the email address bntu@bntu.by

By the 10th and 25th of each month, the university representative notifies employers who have applied to the knowledge assessment center about the time of the knowledge assessment by mail, electronic and other types of communication, ensuring that they receive this information. Also, all relevant information is posted on the university's website in the section Education is a point for assessing the knowledge of one of the official languages by immigrant workers. If the maximum number of places for immigrant workers at the knowledge assessment point is exceeded, the employer is notified of the knowledge assessment at another time on the same day or at another knowledge assessment point. Upon notification, the employer is sent a form of a service agreement to be filled out and signed by an immigrant worker.
On the day of the knowledge assessment, an immigrant worker arrives at the knowledge assessment point by the set time and is allowed to take the test if the following documents are available and presented:
an identity document;
a medical certificate confirming the absence of diseases included in the list of diseases that pose a danger to public health;
service agreements;
information confirming the payment for the knowledge assessment (receipt or receipt of payment in paper or printed form).
For the result of the test, drawn up by the protocol of assessment of knowledge of one of the official languages of the Republic of Belarus, the employer applies to the knowledge assessment center within five working days after the test.
The original protocol is kept by the employer during the period of employment of the immigrant worker.
General provisions
Knowledge assessment is carried out through written testing.
The test tasks take 30 minutes to complete.
The answers to the test tasks are entered legibly with a pen (gel or capillary) with black ink by an immigrant worker personally.
When conducting testing, an immigrant worker is prohibited from:
carry, as well as use in the rooms where testing is carried out, any objects other than a pen (gel or capillary) with black ink;
submit answers to the test tasks after the end of the time allotted for its completion.;
exchange places and test forms with other test participants, use the help of other persons to complete the test tasks;
have with you written notes, reference materials on any medium, communication equipment, electronic computing equipment, photo, audio and video equipment, and other devices for receiving, storing and transmitting information;
remove test forms from the room where the test is being conducted;
photographing test tasks;
talk to other test participants, arbitrarily leave the room where testing is being conducted;
to commit acts that threaten the life and health of persons located at the knowledge assessment point and the property of the knowledge assessment point;
to commit other actions that violate the rights and legitimate interests of persons who are in the knowledge assessment center.
In case of violation of the rules of testing, an immigrant worker is considered to have failed the knowledge assessment and is removed from testing with the preparation of an appropriate protocol.
The knowledge assessment point informs the employer about the fact that an immigrant worker has been removed from the test.
Before starting the test, the immigrant worker is explained the procedure for completing the test tasks, including the possibility of making changes to their answers before the time allotted for passing the test expires, and the need for strict compliance with the rules of testing.
At the end of the time allotted for passing the test, the immigrant worker submits a test form with answers to check and evaluate the results. The test form can be accepted before the expiration of the time allotted for passing the test.
Each page of the test form is signed by an immigrant worker, a teacher, and officials.
The completed pages of the test form are stored at the knowledge assessment point for one year from the date of the test.
The test result is considered positive if the number of correct answers in the immigrant worker's test is 50 percent or more.
The test result is considered negative if:
The number of correct answers in the immigrant worker's test is less than 50 percent.;
the testing procedure has been violated;
An immigrant worker refused to take the test.
The test result, drawn up by the protocol of assessment of knowledge of one of the official languages of the Republic of Belarus, is transmitted to the employer within five working days after it is conducted.
