The international cooperation

The Belarusian National Technical University is the leading higher engineering and technical educational institution in the national education system of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the base organization of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states for higher technical education.

BNTU branch "Intersectoral Institute for Advanced Studies and Retraining in Management and Personnel Development of BNTU" offers educational services in the field of construction, design, engineering services, labor protection and industrial safety. The educational process is conducted by experienced, highly qualified teachers of the institute with the involvement of the best practitioners of the republic, using the material and technical base and the existing intellectual potential of the university.

Training is conducted in the following areas:

• advanced training of managers and specialists of construction, design organizations providing engineering services, inspection of buildings and structures;
• advanced training of managers and specialists in the field of labor protection and industrial safety;
• retraining of specialists on the basis of higher education, i.e. obtaining a new qualification;
• training, retraining, advanced training of workers (employees);
• scientific internship for foreign citizens on the subject: training, production, construction, design, project management, etc.;
• educational and cultural training courses to get acquainted with the Republic of Belarus, including industrial tourism and study of the work of basic enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.

In addition, we provide consulting and research services in the following areas:

• inspection of building structures of buildings and structures;
• conducting judicial and pre-trial construction and technical expertise;
• assistance to foreign organizations on issues of advanced training and certification of managers and specialists, obtaining certificates of conformity and other permits for companies in the field of construction for work in the Republic of Belarus;
• assistance to companies in joining construction, design and survey Self-Regulatory Organizations (SROs) of the Russian Federation;
• assistance to foreign companies on issues of labor protection and industrial safety, including testing knowledge on labor protection issues of managers and specialists of companies.

List of educational programs of the branch of BNTU MIPKiPK

1. Professional development

1.1. advanced training of managers and specialists of construction organizations

(chief engineer, head of the production and technical department, foreman, foreman, estimator (in areas: general construction works, water supply, sewerage, heat supply, ventilation and air conditioning, power supply, etc.));

1.2. advanced training of managers and specialists of design organizations

(chief engineer of the project, chief architect of the project, head of the structural unit, chief specialist developing the project documentation section (in the areas: general construction works, water supply, sewerage, heat supply, ventilation and air conditioning, power supply, etc.))

1.3. advanced training of managers and specialists of engineering organizations (services of the customer (developer))

(head (manager) of the project, engineer for technical supervision (in the areas: general construction works, water supply, sewerage, heat supply, ventilation and air conditioning, power supply, etc.));

1.4. advanced training of managers and specialists of organizations involved in the inspection of buildings and structures

(specialist inspecting buildings and structures; specialist inspecting roads and bridge structures)

1.5. advanced training of managers and specialists in the field of labor protection and industrial safety (with the issuance of a labor protection certificate)

• professional development and testing of knowledge on labor protection issues;
• advanced training and knowledge testing of managers and specialists responsible for organizing and ensuring the safety of work at facilities controlled by Gospromnadzor, Gosatomnadzor, Gospozhnadzor.

Subjects and training program can be compiled at the request of the customer.

The term of study is from 36 to 80 academic hours

Upon completion of the courses, a certificate of completion of advanced training courses of the state standard is issued.

2. Retraining of managers and specialists with higher education in the following specialties:

• Industrial and civil construction;
• Water supply, water disposal and protection of water resources;
• Project management in construction (using BIM technologies) ;
• Automation of design and management in construction ( design of buildings and structures using BIM technologies) ;
• Development of mineral deposits by underground method;
• Logistics;
• Economics and management at the enterprise of the hotel and restaurant industry;
• Economic law;
• Accounting and analiz.

The term of study is from 8 to 18 months.

Subjects and training program can be compiled at the request of the customer

Upon completion of retraining, a state-recognised diploma is issued.

3. Scientific internship

• Project management in construction using BIM technologies
• An in-depth study of software products for BIM design and project management (Autodesk, Tools4Revit, LIRA, Tekla, Renga, ANSYS, CAD-PLAN, SBS project, etc.)
• Study of start-ups and experience in implementing more than 50 innovative technologies and developments of the Scientific and Technological Park of BNTU "Polytechnic"  (directions: construction, information technology, medicine, casting and metallurgy, light industry, laser technologies, road surfaces, ecology, energy saving)
• Studying the experience of the mining industry of the Republic of Belarus, training at the enterprises of JSC "Belaruskali"
• Studying the experience of machine - building enterprises in the Republic of Belarus . (Training at the enterprises of the BELAZ-HOLDING holding, the BelavtoMAZ holding, MTZ, AMKODOR, Gomselmash, SZAO BELGI, CJSC Stadler Minsk, OJSC Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, OJSC MACHINE-BUILDING PLANT named after S. M. Kirov ", etc.)
• Studying the experience of panel housing construction in the Republic of Belarus, the possibility of reducing the cost of construction . (Training at the enterprises of JSC "Minsk House-Building Plant", RUE "Vitebsk DSK", JSC "Gomel DSK", etc.)
• Studying the experience of housing and communal services in the Republic of Belarus
• Studying the experience of IT companies in the Republic of Belarus

The topics of training and the duration of the internship depend on the requirements of the customer.

After graduation, a certificate of completion of the state-recognized internship and a certificate are issued.

4. Educational and cultural programs to get acquainted with the Republic of Belarus

At the request of the customer, various directions of educational programs are possible, with the involvement of the best practitioners of the republic and other countries, using the material and technical base and the existing intellectual potential of the university, visiting the basic enterprises of the republic, visiting objects under construction, getting acquainted with the cultural and historical sights of the Republic of Belarus, the following directions:

The topics and terms of training depend on the requirements of the customer.

After graduation, a certificate of completion of an internship of the state standard (certificate) is issued.

5. Training of workers (employees) in construction specialties:

• training in working specialties;
• retraining of workers for another specialty, if they have a building education;
• advanced training of workers;
• training of workers for admission to perform potentially hazardous work, including:

Training is provided in all construction specialties.
