Several sabotage and terrorist attacks were prevented in Belarus. And all are associated with minors. Young people are the most active part of the population. Due to their special perception of the environment, including changes in the political, socio-economic spheres, they are most susceptible to extremist manifestations.
With the development of information and communication technologies, the number of threats and illegal acts, including extremist ones, committed using the Internet, which is the most effective means of mass information influence on young people, has increased. A big misconception today is to continue to believe that in the bottomless pit of the Internet you can cover your tracks with impunity.
A volleyball competition was held among students of hostel No. 11. The participants were divided into two teams, which revealed the winner among themselves only in the fifth final game, after the score was 2 - 2 in games.

The outcome of the battle was decided by the very last question, which was answered by the 5th floor team. Each team received a diploma for participating in the quiz, and the winner, of course, also received a sweet prize.
Students living in the dormitory invited not only their classmates, but also their relatives and friends to take part in the UNITED VOTING DAY, 02/25/2024. Man has long paid attention and cared for birds. Not only are they beautiful, but many of them also have amazing voices. Birds are our friends! A very difficult time has come for the birds, it is difficult to obtain food. The cold is not as terrible for birds as hunger is. It is the main cause of death of birds in winter. The campaign, the purpose of which is to help wintering birds, includes such activities as installing feeders and organizing bird feeding.

On February 21, 2023, teachers of hostel No. 8 Babrova L.V. and Lyakhovich S.V. an excursion was organized for students of the instrument-making faculty to the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War.
Accompanied by a guide, the children got acquainted with the expositions of the museum, learned a lot of interesting things about the great feat of our compatriots during the war, real stories of life and struggle of the Belarusian people in the difficult war years. Authentic documents of the war years, a huge exposition of military equipment and weapons, multimedia exhibits, personal belongings and awards of participants in the Great Patriotic War - all this immerses you in the atmosphere of those years, in the tragic years of our Motherland. The exposition of military equipment and weapons made a special impression: the famous Katyusha, T-34 tanks, small arms and artillery weapons, a military transport aircraft, etc.
The Great Patriotic War is one of the most terrible periods for all mankind. She claimed the lives of a huge number of people. Pain and suffering is all that war brings with it. The victory was not easy, and it is precisely in order for people to remember these events that such museums are being created. And our duty is to keep the memory of this feat, to bow before the steadfastness and courage of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, to love and appreciate the world and our Motherland.

On February 23, the Republic of Belarus celebrates the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus.
The holiday unites everyone who cherishes the fate of the country, who stands guard over the interests of the state, its security, demonstrates an example of valor and courage.
Traditionally, on the eve of the celebration of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, officers of the military-technical faculty hold meetings with students living in the dormitories of BNTU.
This year, on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, video films and presentations were shown on the topic: “Ensuring military security is the most important factor in the development of the Republic of Belarus in modern conditions”, from which students learned about the structure of the Armed Forces, the combat capability of the Belarusian army, and modern weapons. And also the teachers of the military-technical faculty told the participants of the meetings about the possibility of entering the military department, training at the military-technical faculty, as well as the conditions of service under the contract after graduation from the university. On February 22, a meeting was held between students of hostels No. 9, No. 11 and No. 14 with participants in the hostilities of the Afghan war, Colonel of the Medical Service Dobriyants Alexander Ivanovich and Major of the Medical Service Kozhemyadchenko Nikolai Pavlovich.
Meetings of students with Alexander Ivanovich have become traditional. For 10 years, with great excitement, he tells students about his participation in hostilities and hard work in hospitals in wartime conditions. Nikolai Kozhemyadchenko, who had been in Afghanistan since March 1984, was present at the meeting with the students and was seriously wounded while rescuing a comrade. It is very difficult to talk and remember those events. But we must know and keep the memory of what happened 30 years ago.
And now these people are in the ranks. Alexander Ivanovich works as a practicing doctor in the hemodialysis department at the main military clinical medical center. Nikolai Pavlovich works as an extra doctor at the Republican Clinical Center under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
The students listened attentively, asked many questions to the guests, and expressed their sincere gratitude to Alexander Ivanovich and Nikolai Pavlovich for the sincere meeting, for the truth about the tragic war and human courage. The truth, which is necessary not only for them, but for all of us. Each of the Afghans who have gone through pain and suffering is worthy of Memory and Respect.
