Additionally, we offer tours and workshops for organized groups on other days from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM by prior arrangement.
FIE Building No. 17
Academic Building No. 17 features spacious classrooms and laboratories equipped with modern technology. It houses two collaborative educational and research laboratories: one with HEXAGON Metrology, focusing on the measurement and control of geometric parameters of engineering and instrumentation components, and another for engineering and technical safety.
Students have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of micro and nanoscale objects in the Nano-diagnostics laboratory and to conduct their first experiments. Additionally, a unique classroom has recently been created as part of the "Smart Classroom" project. This innovative experimental space is designed for the implementation of advanced scientific and engineering developments by both students and faculty members.
Faculty Research Opportunities
The faculty boasts two student research laboratories: "Instrumentation" and "Quality." The top students and graduate students have the opportunity to conduct research at the Scientific Research Center for Optical Materials and Technologies, the Industry Laboratory for Innovative MEMS Technology Instruments, and two other research laboratories focused on semiconductor technology and optoelectronic instrumentation.
We invite everyone interested to visit Room 301 in Academic Building No. 17 (22 Yakub Kolas Street).
