On January 27 a career guidance meeting was held between students of the Soligorsk Mining and Chemical College and representatives of the Faculty of Mining and Environmental Engineering. The meeting focused on the mining industry's development prospects and the need to train qualified specialists capable of implementing modern mining and environmental protection methods to ensure its continued sustainability.
FMME Dean Andrey Kologrivko emphasized the importance of higher education in the mining industry and informed senior students about the continuous learning path in their chosen specialty and the opportunities for obtaining a university degree at the Belarusian National Technical University in full-time and part-time programs.
The meeting was an important step toward developing professional aspirations for future mining specialists. The students received valuable information about the promising development trends of the mining engineering profession, as well as opportunities for further education and career advancement in the mining industry.
